CSIS 1500
Take CSIS 1500 if any of the following apply:
- You are looking for a course that deals with APPLICATIONS, and adds some computing theory.
- You are otherwise REQUIRED to take it.
NO previous computer experience is required. This course does NOT count towards any CSIS major.
CSIS 1514
Take CSIS 1514 if any of the following apply:
- You are looking for a course that deals ENTIRELY with APPLICATIONS.
- You are a Williamson School of Business Administration student.
- You are otherwise REQUIRED to take it.
NO previous computer experience is required. This course does NOT count towards any CSIS major.
CSIS 1590
Take CSIS 1590 if any of the following apply:
- You are looking for a course that deals with APPLICATIONS, and adds internal storage representation of data and PROGRAMMING.
- You are a Computer Science and Information Systems Department MAJOR.
- You are otherwise REQUIRED to take it.
CSIS 1590 has TWO prerequisites:
- Previous computer experience (CSIS 1500 or equivalent knowledge).
- MATH 1505 Intermediate Algebra or equivalent knowledge. BOTH are REQUIRED before you register for CSIS 1590.
This course DOES count towards any CSIS major.
